Leader to Attend Annual Ramadan Quran Recitation Session
TEHRAN (IQNA) – Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei will attend the annual Quran recitation ceremony of the first day of the holy month of Ramadan later today.
A number of prominent Qaris will recite the Holy Quran at the event.
In accordance with the annual tradition, the ceremony will be held on Wednesday afternoon, marking the first day of Ramadan in Iran.
It will start at 5 PM and will be broadcast live by a number of national channels and by the various official social media accounts of Khamenei.ir.
Due to the coronavirus restrictions and health guidelines advising against all forms of public gatherings, this year’s ceremony, like the previous year’s, will be held via a live videoconference.
